Metal Church Portland Concert reviews
2 out of 3 aint bad
Metal Church's musicianship was fantastic, with the whole band being very good. The band was not a slouch, and they were very entertaining. The musicians for Miranda Lambert and Justin Moore were all tremendous. Justin Moore's band, while very talented, sounded more heavy metal than country and was extremely tight. Miranda Lambert was extremely entertaining, and her band had a lot of character. They looked like a group of misfits, yet here they were, very tight with a lot of stage presence. Justin Moore, an unknown factor, was a bit too in-your-face for my tastes, with his rednecking and name dropping. For someone who enjoys Gretchen Wilson/Toby Keith's type of country, he would be considered great, but I found it annoying and insulting, being from the south.
